I deeply value the sense of belonging and collaboration that comes with being part of a community. Whether through volunteering, contributing time and skills, or fostering a culture of inclusivity, I believe in the reciprocal nature of community engagement. I firmly believe that investments in local communities are anchors on our journeys, providing a sense of belonging, mutual support, and shared purpose that enriches our individual and collective experiences.
Big Brothers Big Sisters
For five years I provided mentorship for an at-risk youth, provided emotional and practical support throughout middle school and high school into college enrollment.
Sarvodaya Institute
I apprenticed at Sarvodaya Institute for two years, and specialized in indigenous and sustainable farming practices. I also assisted with community workshops, farm, nursery and beehive maintenance and harvesting.
